Perfect Thanksgiving nails!

Red and Gold nails, with a cute 3d turkey on the ring finger! So so cute!!

Cheetah print, with some zeebra too!

3d Cheetah print on the thumbs, so cute with a silver-gold color perfect for fall!

Blue Fade, with Galaxy sparkles, and Zeebra print!

I love the "Galaxy effect" it adds just a little excitement without being too flashy!

I do acknowledge the "smile line" is a bit low on this set (the smile line is where the tip color meets the pink of the nail - fyi). This generally happens when the client is a nail biter, or has naturally very short nails. The first set applied will have a lower smile line - but in 2-3 weeks (if you or a friend have this problem) go back for a fill or back fill and they will be perfect!

Some serious FIERCE and Love!

Definitely my favorite cheetah print so far!

Toes with texture!

I love this textured look under any color! So classy and simple, but cute.

This was another "random light-bulb moment" and whenever I have those guess who the guinea pig is? Yep, usually me. Unless one of my friends is around - then they have to get experimented on.

What I did - First a base coat! Always put a base coat on before painting! If you don't, whether it is your finger nails or your toes, they will either get stained or start to turn yellow due to lack of oxygen! Anyways, I then used a "liner paint" (smaller bottle of polish with a very thin brush to use for nail art) and did the designs. After that was dry, I did the color, 2 coats, and of course a top coat.
I love the way they turned out!!

Pink with a Gold Fade

This was a random, light-bulb moment, inspired set I did on myself. I had just gotten the new baby pink color - and was so excited about creating my own 3d shapes with acrylic! So I did the sparkly, baby pink on all my nails then filed, and buffed as usual (so they were completed to the point where you would usually just put the top coat on and call them finished). But, how boring would that have been if I had just left it at that?

Next I built/shaped the white hearts on my ring fingers - using OPI competition white acrylic powder. I did have to buff the top of the hearts once they were dry/set to give them a smooth finish, but while the acrylic was drying I mixed some gold, dry sparkles with a clear nail polish on a piece of tin foil. I then used a cosmetic sponge to fade the gold sparkles on top of the pink. (P.S. I LOVE GOLD!) I did this on all my nails except the ring finger - it was to accent the gold outline I put on the heart as well as the cheetah print on the hearts!

What do you think? I still absolutely adore this set!!!

3d Gold lined cheetah heart

Galaxy with Fade

Okay, these were one of my first sets doing galaxy as well as different prints. I used 3 different colors of mixed acrylic as well as some sparkle paint to get the "galaxy effect".

For the "galaxy effect" I poured some silver sparkle polish on a piece of plastic, then I got a cosmetic sponge (you can get a 10-20 pk. at walmart or family dollar for just a few dollars), I dipped just a corner in a tiny bit of polish and dabbed it on the nail til it met my satisfaction! So much fun!!

Gothic barbie, 3d spiders, Candy Corn nails and more!! Boo!

We are feeling Halloween with all of these awesome festive sets!!

These were a more "Gothic Barbie" type for Halloween :) I love how they turned out!

More Classic Halloween ones, with a 3d spider!

Halloween Nails!

I have had so much fun getting creative with all these Halloween Nails! The spider on here was hand made with acrylic - to make it 3d then the legs are painted. The spider webs, ghost, and the "drip" was all hand painted also!
So much fun!!!
