Shellac French Application and Removal

French manicures are hard to get the hang of, even when just using polish. When you are trying to do them with shellac or gel polish; it gets even harder! I found this video made by CND explaining the best way to do a French Manicure using shellac - I thought I would share because it has some very good information and breaks it down from start to finish!

Enjoy!

Chevron, chevron, chevron

Chevron has been all the hype lately! I get so many requests on nails, for some type of chevron nail/nail art. It is pretty easy to do on acrylics, shellac, or paint! I prefer to use "line paints" when putting chevron on nails, although I haven't ever tried using the nail stamps, I may have to give that a try at some point!

Love the touch of rhinestones we did to complete this fun set!

This was a "last, fun summer set" for my client, we used orange and yellow sparkles, mixed with Opi Competition clear acrylic powder, of course, with Opi Competition warm pink on the bottom! Turned out like the perfect summer set, complete with chevron!

On this set we used CND shellac, then decorated them!

Sugar Skull shellac!

I feel like a lot of the time shellac, or gel polish is just so boring! There are so many ways to add a little bit to shellac, to make it fun or unique! I love the gradient sparkles we did, a long with my hand painted sugar skulls on this set!
If you get shellac or a gel polish done definitely request some nail art! I guarantee you won't regret it!
